Over the last few years I have seen many variations of planning frames. It is important to choose the one that suits you the best then adapt it for the needs of your school. Some schools prefer you to use their own planning grids, others don't. Planning is a nightmare for student teachers; spending three hours a night just to plan for a one hour lesson! It does get easier, trust me!

Remember, don't spend too long fretting over the finer details of your lesson plans; it is the content of your lesson that will get you good grades. Try out some of the templates below and see how you feel using them.
